Women, Infants and Children

WIC participants receive vouchers, which can be redeemed for specified nutritious foods at designated grocery stores. Participants also receive nutrition education, nutrition counseling and referrals to other health and social service agencies.

Pregnane women, breastfeeding mothers (up to one year after delivery), postpartum non-breastfeeding mothers (up to six months after delivery), infants and children up to five years of age are all eligible for WIC. There are some income guidelines. Clients must call to schedule an appointment.
