Hoosier Healthwise Hoosier Healthwise is a health insurance program offered by the State of Indiana for children from birth through age 18. It covers checkpups, well-child visits, doctor visits, hospital stays, prescription drugs, vision and dental care and other important health care benefits. There are some income guidelines for eligibility. Pregnant women seeking to get on this program must provide proof of a positive pregnancy test, which they can ask for at the WIC office. Clients can enroll in this program through the Division of Family and Children office, by mail, or at any other enrollment center in our area.
